Smoking 103
Over the winter I did some engine work to my 07 Night Train to bring it up to 103". Upon initial start up, there was a large amount smoke, which I thought was normal due to the oil on the motors internals. I then took the bike about 40 miles to start breaking it in. When I returned, the smoking from the pipes was gone. Yesterday, I went to take the bike for a ride again, and upon initial start up, there wasn't any smoke. I went inside to get my gear, and when I came back out the bike was smoking heavily again. I cracked the throttle a few times, and it eventualy came out of it. Is that normal? It seemed to me that the rings should be pretty well broke in after 50 miles, enough so they shouldn't smoke like that. Just looking for some input on what may cause that, and how concerned I should be about it. Thanks.
